Biography: Natasha Bacca is a reiki master, artist, and art professor. Her artwork is in the collections of NASA, Conrad Hilton Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Kaiser Permanente hospitals, UC Davis Medical Center, Mesa Verde National Park, universities, wineries, and many more. Her artwork has been featured on billboards across the United States, television commercials, and television shows, including The Big Bang Theory, Two Broke Girls, Scandal, Portlandia, and more. In addition to numerous recognitions and awards, she was granted a US patent for the process by which she creates her art. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her son where she teaches photography at Central Oregon Community College and volunteers at Humane Society of Central Oregon. |

Through the Smartphone Lens: Learning to See Like a Photographer Youth Camp
In this creative photography camp, students will explore the art of seeing the world through the camera they carry every day: their smartphone. Through fun photo challenges and guided lessons, students will learn the fundamentals of photography including composition, lighting, perspective and visual storytelling. Daily photo walks and creative exercises will encourage students to observe their surroundings in new ways while developing their artistic eye and confidence as photographers. Students will also participate in supportive group discussions where they can share their images and learn from one another. Ages 10-15.
