Biography: Jean Stark first learned how to make Pine Needle Baskets in 1982 and has loved the process of gathering Ponderosa Pine needles to create both utilitarian and specialty baskets. She worked as a full time artist throughout the 80's and 90's, traveling to art shows across the county and working with galleries. Jean continues to make baskets, do commission work and teach classes at Central Oregon Community College and at Pendleton Community College. |
