Biography: Lance Kasari has been designing electronic hardware and writing software for embedded systems for almost 30 years, working in diverse fields such as biotechnology, solar energy and avionics. He has designed several systems using embedded Linux as the operating system; he loves Linux for its flexibility and power. He is happy as a lifelong nerd which started when he was president of his high school electronics club. He also helps out with local robotics programs and enjoys teaching and tinkering in his spare time. Lance holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. |
