Aaron Duccini
Biography: Aaron Duccini, owner/artist AD Glass & Design, Central Oregon's only public access glass studio. Aaron started flameworking glass in 1998 creating small-scale sculptures, small vases, and goblets. In 2002, Aaron attended his first furnace glassblowing class at Pilchuck Glass School in Northern WA transitioning into furnace glass creating large full-color vases and vessels. Since 2002, Aaron was selected by Pilchuck to attend numerous intermediate and advanced glassblowing classes with different internationally renowned glass masters. In 2017, Aaron built his first furnace glass studio, bringing his almost 20-year dream to reality. In June 2021, Aaron moved his home studio to a brick-and-mortar location at the Century Center, taking his dream to another level. This new location is designed for creating larger art pieces with larger teams with better public access. When not working in the hot shop, Aaron does coldworking and etching. Aaron enjoys snowboarding, hiking, disc golf, mountain biking and is President of the Deschutes County 4-Wheelers.
