Course Detail: Italy: A Taste From North to South
Embark on a culinary tour of Eastern Italy. We begin in the North with foods eaten in the Dolomite region. We prepare and sample a selection of charcuterie, vegetables and a staple, "Canederli con Formaggio." We continue to move South to Venice where we will make and eat the popular specialty, "Sarde in Saor" (Venetian Style Sweet and Sour Sardines) and learn to make hearty and satisfying polenta. We wrap our class with a simple, yet elegant dessert of Coppa al Mascarpone (Mascarpone Custard). Bring your chef's knife, your Italian-English translation book and your sense of adventure! Ciao!
