Course Detail: Springtime Cake
Spring is in the air and what better way to celebrate the warmer weather than with a delicious springtime cake. This class will teach you the basics of cake baking. Create a strawberry and lemon cream filled cake with lemon butter cream lattice icing. Students will learn how to make rich butter cake layers, lemon curd and Swiss butter cream. Gain piping skills to decorate your cake with a lattice pattern for a beautiful, finished result. Each student will go home with their own cake. Please bring a sharp paring knife, a long serrated knife and take home container for your cake as well as an apron and a lunch.
