Course Detail: Fresh & Easy Seafood
Love fish, but don't know how to prepare and store it? Are you concerned about the possible pollution in fish these days? How does wild fish compare to farmed fish? Learn these answers and discuss the best and "cleanest" seafood to eat, where to purchase it, and the best way to prepare it. Explore the health benefits of sea vegetables and try some recipes using dulce and wakame as a complement to fish dishes. Recipes will depend on fresh ingredients available at the time of class and may include: Sesame Seared Ahi with Spring Greens, Pine Crusted Cod with Orange Sauce, Wild Caught Salmon with Spicy Rub, Great Fish Tacos, and Fantailed Coconut Shrimp and Crab. All guaranteed to be delicious! Bring a knife, peeler and apron.
