Course Detail: Summer Yoga Workshop
Relax and renew with this gentle 3-hour summer workshop. Yoga can help you find ways to move more freely as your activity level increases during the summer months. Experience yoga in different formats including Restorative Yoga postures to ease tension and identify muscles in their natural state of alignment. Practice mindfulness as you begin to warm the muscles with movement in basic Hatha Yoga to attain key standing postures. Conclude the workshop with Yin Yoga to deeply stretch the muscles and their connective tissues and open the body. All experience and skill levels welcome. Bring a yoga mat and a towel to make your own neck roll (eye pillows are optional). Blankets and bolsters will be provided for support during Restorative and Yin Yoga.
