Course Description: Pour it on! Discover Acrylic Pouring

Discover the art of skillful adult finger-painting! Acrylic pouring is a method of painting that is brush-free, and uses gravity to spread fluid color on just about any surface. Acrylic pouring is easy, fun, and relaxing when you know what you're doing. Learn about using colors, techniques of acrylic pouring, and supplies to make your projects shine. By the end of the class, you will have completed 3-4 acrylic pouring paintings of various sizes. As you pour the paint, feel your worries flow away. Even if you think you're not an artist, this class is for you! Please bring an apron if possible, and a cardboard box to transport projects home after class. All other supplies provided, and no experience necessary.

Additional Course Information

Supplies for students: Bring an apron if possible. Bring a cardboard box at least 8" X10" to transport projects home after class. The painting portion of this class will take place outside. Please dress appropriately.

Melanie Bills

Biography: Melanie Bills has been teaching for COCC Continuing Education since 2005. Primarily self-taught, Melanie believes everyone has creative potential, and uses her classes to help students discover or tap into their creative side. Melanie finds creativity in every aspect of her life, whether it's with working with wire, crafting art journals, or her life's work as a hairdresser. She credits her grandmother for passing on her eclectic style.

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
