This three (3) day course is designed to buildupon the skills learned in the Basic RifleOperator Course and to introduce more advancedtechniques.Topics of instruction include shooting on themove, natural and unorthodox shooting positions,individual and team live fire exercises, highspeed shooting drills, multiple threat assessmentand engaging, strong and support side shooting,clearing malfunctions, shooting from cover andvehicles, and low light operations.NOTE: All Firearms Courses at the Camden CountyCollege Police Academy require participation inphysical activities such as light running,sit-ups, push-ups, etc. Registration is limitedto students capable of full participation.BDUs or Class B uniforms are appropriate.Prerequisite: A Basic Rifle Operator Course orPolice Service Rifle Instructor Course (Bring acopy of the Certificate to class on the firstday.)Equipment: M4 style weapon with sling, 4 riflemagazines, magazine carrier, ear and eyeprotection, ballistic vest, 700 rounds of rifleammunition, department issued handgun, holster, 3handgun magazines, magazine pouch, 150 rounds ofhandgun ammunition.
