This five (5) day course is an intense classdesigned to certify Firearms Instructors to thenext level of Police Service Rifle Instructors. Upon completion of the course, the student willdemonstrate and identify the principal parts ofseveral weapons used in these types of trainingprograms, demonstrate familiarity with the safeand proper handling of these weapons, anddemonstrate knowledge of established range rules. The student will be qualified to instruct theoperation of the Polilce Service Rifle, and willbe certified to conduct the required yearlyqualifications set forth by the Division ofCriminal Justice.This course is offered in the spring and fall.NOTE: All Firearms Courses at the Camden CountyCollege Pollice Academy require participation inphysical activities such as light running,sit-ups, push-ups, etc. Registration is limitedto students capable of full participation.BDUs of Class B uniforms are appropriate. **All agency weapons must be fully assembled withsling and properly sighted in per your agenciesprotocol before coming to this class**EQUIPMENT: M4 style weapon with sling, 4 riflemagazines, magazine carrier, ear and eyeprotection, ballistic vest, 2000 rounds of rifleammunition, department issues handgun, holster, 3handgun magazines, magazine pouch, 200 rounds ofhandgun ammunition.
