This course offers a combination of theory and clinical work. Students will learn safe and effective blood draw methods along with hematology, the study of blood, basic lab procedures and basic anatomy physiology.

Please note: Students wishing to participate in a clinical experience must secure a clinical facility. Clinical experience is not a requirement for program completion; however, it is a requirement for certification. Upon completion of the program and clinical experience, successful students will be eligible to sit for the phlebotomy certification exam.
