The Patient Care Technician Program focuses on building a complete and solid foundation for students through classroom theory, lab, and hands-on clinical components. Students will develop competency in basic patient care skills; learn the key concepts of anatomy and physiology; explore cardiac function; perform EKGs; gain foundational knowledge in phlebotomy, basic nursing care and nutrition; and develop skills in therapeutic communication and critical thinking.
