This (1) day course is designed to provide patrolofficers with the information and tools needed tomanage a critical incident prior to the arrival ofSWAT and/or additional resources. Understandingthe risk-based deision-making model, safetypriorities for tactical incidents, and incidentcommand fundamentals will give responding officersthe ability to succeed during critical events. During this course, participants will review bestpractices in response to suicidal/barricadedpersons, active shooter protocols, and the policeapproach to an effective incident command system.
