This two (2) day course is an AG requirement for the officers assigned by their department to carry & operate a Conducted Energy Device. The student will be instructed and certified on the operation, use , policies and procedures (manufacturer and PTC) of the Taser X-7 Conducted Energy Device. Prerequisite: Letter from Chief authorizing voluntary exposure, Proof of NJ Learn Certification (100%), Familiarization with AG's Policy on Conducted Energy Device (Effective date December 2020), de-escalation techniques to individuals with Special Needs/Mental Health Issues Training course being offered as part of the Clear Institute curriculum, completed ABLE Training, completed ICAT Training. Equipment: TASER X-7 Conducted Energy Weapon, TASER CAM fully charged with charger (OPTIONAL if your departments utilizes body-worn cameras), TASER X-7 Conducted Energy Weapon holster, Eye protection, Duty belt with holster, Duty flashlight, Total of 3 cartridges for deployment: Qualifications: 3 TOTAL (Any combination of "Live" and "LS" cartridges) and classroom training: 2 inert, Resettable Training Cartridges NOTE: For Taser X10 requalification's please contact the Camden County prosecutors Office.
