This one (1) day course is designed to assist theofficer in safely and effectively dealing withthe mentall and emotionall ill individual. Thiscourse will cover the causes, characteristics,signs and symptoms of emotional crisis,communication techniques as well as legalconcerns such as the responsibility of theofficer, laws directed toward the mentally ill,and liability issues.
