This one (1) day course is designed to prepareofficers to instruct the Attorney General'smandatory semi-annual training within their owndepartments. Each session will include athorough review of all relevant updates on thelaw for the past year, including case law,statutes, Attorney General Directives andGuidelines, and county policies. In addition,the course will cover the most recent review ofboth the law and practice of high-speed motorvehicle pursuits and the use of deadly force. The Domestic Violence segment of the course willcover the basic legal responsibilities ofofficers responding to DV calls, updates on therelevant law, as well as a discussion ofrecommended investigative techniques in handlingof DV cases.
