This course is designed for firefighters who desire promotion to the ranks of Lieutenant or Captain. The course curriculum corresponds to meet all the requirements as set forth in the N.F.P.A. 1021 (Professional Qualifications) for Level 1 and 2 in personnel and fire ground management. This class will cover the classic supervisory functions of planning, organizing, staffing, managing personal, community, governmental relationships, investigations, NIMS and public speaking.
