This program has been developed to prepareindividuals to serve as Company Officers, and toenhance the skills of existing officers. The classis a combination of lecture, student activitiesand simulated practical evolutions, with a focuson firefighter safety and criticaldecision-making. Students will have theopportunity to interact with a simulateddispatcher to provide initial size-up andfollow-up reports on radio. On the last day ofclass, students will have the opportunity tosupervise a crew of firefighters and direct theiractions on a variety of simulated emergencysituations.
