Certificate Programs
Earned Value Management Certificate
Earned Value Management (EVM) is a program management tool that integrates technical, cost and schedule parameters of a contract and benefits both government and contractors through detailed schedules, program milestones and cost data. While many EVM principles are inherent in good business practice, some require a more intensive approach to integrating management systems. Embraced by NASA and the DoD acquisition communities, EVM is an integral part of the acquisition value chain. Upon completion, participants gain a solid foundation in EVM concepts, understand its role in proactive decision-making and learn the requirements for government contracts. They will also have the skills to apply EVM concepts to objectives, analyze variances and prepare reports.
