Course Detail: WTRA200 - Rail Tech Onboarding- Electrical

This 50-hour hybrid course meets over a two-week period. The first week includes 10 hours of online mathematics. The second week is 5 in-person, 8-hour labs of practical theory and practical application. As a result of this training students will learn the skills necessary to begin work as an electrical-focused technician at Stadler Rail. Students will be able to calculate basic math required for electrical assemblers; analyze technical documents such as blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOM) to layout and assemble mixed electrical components; label wiring systems to prevent safety/electrical issues and facilitate traceability; prepare electrical components according to Stadler Rail standards; create a complex motor panel according to Stadler Rail standards.
