Course Detail: WTCE500 - Revit MEP Electrical

This 24-hour course meets up to three times a week over a two- to four-week period. Students develop the foundational skills needed to use tools for parametric MEP system design. Through hands-on application, students learn basic features of Autodesk Revit MEP, with a focus on designing electrical systems. As a result of this training students will be able to Use parametric engineering design tools. Design electrical systems, including placement, creating circuits, setting up panel schedules, and adding cable trays and conduits. Create construction documents, add tags and schedules, and annotate details. This course qualifies students for an industry-standard certificate of completion from Autodesk. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will qualify for entry-level positions, including Electrical Drafter and Electrical Designer.
