David W. McConnell
Dave McConnell, RLA, approaches landscape architecture from a fine arts and traditional architecture background. He studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and later completed his degree in Landscape Architecture at CCNY. He has been involved with the design and construction of scores of projects throughout the City, including Concrete Plant Park, portions ofthe Bronx River Greenway and Hudson River Park Greenway, Yankee Stadium, Washington Square Park, Pelham Parkway Malls, and numerous smaller parks and playgrounds. Dave is the former director of the NYC Parks Storm Recovery Unit, and his work beyond NYC Parks includesdomestic and international residences and hotels, downtown revitalization plans, planning studies, pedestrian improvement, and urban plazas.
