Sarah Wry
Before Sarah Wry's 20-year career in the environmental movement managing Friends of the Earth's forest program in London and campaigns for the International Fund for Animal Welfare in the USA, she went to art school and painted as a hobby. In 2010, Sarah took up painting and drawing full-time. She earned her Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration from NYBG in 2016 and now teaches there as well as locally. She also works for the American Society of Botanical Artists (www.asba-art.org).

This intro class teaches you basic botanical illustration techniques to help you make realistic drawings of branches, stems, leaves, and flowers using graphite and colored pencil.
