Drawing Fruits and Seed Dispersal

All flowering plants produce fruit, regardless of whether the fruit is edible, hard or soft. In this class, you'll combine botanical morphology with illustration to gain a deeper understanding of plant reproduction—how fruits develop from fertilized carpels in various ways depending on a plant's ultimate chosen method of seed dispersal. Focus on understanding in order to accurately render the unique forms of fruits and their seeds in the medium of your choosing. Prerequisite: Botanical Drawing II
