AAPC01 - Auricular Acupressure for Palliative Care

This course provides an overview of auricular therapy history and its application in palliative care. A palliative care approach considers the physical, psychological, and spiritual experiences of the patients and caregivers navigating life-threatening and long-term illness. Auricular acupressure is a safe, effective form of auricular therapy that can relieve common symptoms seen in palliative care environments, including pain, gastrointestinal and urinary concerns, mood dysregulation, and sleep disturbance. This course prepares you with the training to provide protocolized auricular acupressure treatments to address common symptoms. This course is not a comprehensive training in the use of auricular therapy.
