Upon successful completion of this program, inkling the completion of an approved national written examination, participants will have met California's requirements to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I.

This 48-hour Hybrid (online and in-person) Electrocardiograph (EKG/ECG) Technician program will prepare participants to sit for the National EKG Technician Certification Exam. EKG Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests to access the heart rhythm and rate in patients. EKG's are typically performed during physical examinations especially before and after operations. They are also administered to monitor patients with a history of heart disease and to diagnose patients experiencing chest pains or whenever a physician deems an EKG necessary.
