Inquiry Based Science using Kansas Agroecosystems 07/01/24 - 06/30/25 This course covers the basics of inquiry-based agriculture education pedagogy, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), the identification of common crops in Kansas, with an emphasis on resources for hands-on teaching using the Kansas Corn kits for classrooms and the Kansas Soybean. Participants will demonstrate the ability to apply NGSS science standards to agriculture ecosystems in science education.
