Course Detail: LLLI-8793 - Geneva's Pioneer Codebreakers

During this class, learn about William and Elizebeth Friedman, pioneers of modern cryptology, who began their codebreaking careers at the Fabyan Villa (Riverbank Laboratories) in Geneva, Illinois. The couple worked on breaking secret codes during World War I, Prohibition, and World War II. After the war, William became head cryptologist at the National Security Agency following its formation in 1952. And Elizebeth created communication security systems for the International Monetary Fund.
