Course Detail: LEAD-9061 - Conflict Management: Triangulation

Did you know that in workplace psychology, triangulation is considered a bad thing? Triangulation occurs when one employee talks about an issue or conflict with a co-worker to a third co-worker, rather than directly addressing the issue with the person involved. This behavior is a form of talking behind someone's back. Triangulation can be quite harmful for many reasons, some of which you may not have considered. How do we best handle this behavior as individuals, as well as teams in the workplace? How should managers and supervisors address this when it involves members of their team?
