Certified Recovery Support Specialist Success Program

Course Description: 

The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) Success Program will provide high quality recovery support training with supervised practical experience and wrap-around supports.  Coordinated by post-secondary educational institutions for individuals with lived experience of mental health, substance use, or co-occurring mental health and substance use recovery.

Early Intervention Certificate for Occupational Therapy Best Practices

Course Fee: $250 for full 10 week course, $200 for EI credentialed OT/OTA for 9 week course 

Date: January 10, 2026 - March 21, 2026

Course Description: This course will provide occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, new graduates and early career OT/OTAs with an overview of the State of Illinois Early Intervention Program and best practice guidelines. 

The learning objectives of this course:

1-Understand the EI process for credentialing   

2-Gain knowledge about OT's Distinct value in the State of IL EI program

3-Develop a working plan toward a career in EI 

4-Apply OT Best Practices in EI Assessment and Intervention     

5-Synthesize all learning modules through real life application   

The State of Illinois Early Intervention Program requires providers to become credentialed in order to work in EI. This course will review the credentialing process and provide participants with best practice knowledge and resources regarding working as an occupational therapy practitioners in EI with children and families. 

Intended Audience:

Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, new graduates and early career OT/OTAs who are thinking about entering EI or are already established EI providers and want to explore best practices for occupational therapy in the State of Illinois Early Intervention Program. 

Course Structure: 

This course is 100% online with asynchronous and synchronous sessions with remote open meetings to support learning. Opportunities for networking with peers and mentorship.

There are 10 learning modules with educational learning materials and learning activities. Participants need to complete each module and complete an assessment for each module in order to advance to the next module. All modules need to be completed to receive the certificate and CEU's.

A certificate and a badge will be earned upon completion of the course.

EI continuing education units are approved and applied for at the end of the course

Early Intervention Certificate for Occupational Therapy Best Practices

Registered Health Information Administrator

Course Fee: $2000

Course Description:

RHIAs are a critical link between care providers, payers, and patients. The RHIA has a comprehensive knowledge of medical, administrative, ethical, and legal requirements and standards related to healthcare delivery and privacy of protected patient information.

RHIAs work in multiple settings in the healthcare industry, including hospitals, multispecialty clinics and physician practices, long-term care, mental health, and other ambulatory care settings. They can also work in non-patient care settings such as managed care and insurance companies, software vendors, consulting services, government agencies, education, and pharmaceutical companies.

RHIAs:

• Manage people and operational units, participate in administrative committees, and prepare budgets.

• Interact with all levels of an organization-clinical, financial, administrative, and information systems-that employ patient data in decision-making and everyday operations.

• Manage patient health information and medical records, administer computer information systems, collect and analyze patient data, and use classification systems and medical terminologies.
  

Education Requirement:

Must have one of the following degrees in order to take the exam:

• Bachelors in Health Information Management(HIM)

• OR HIM Certificate of the Degree (Post-Baccalaureate)

• OR HIM Masters Degree Program

• OR HIM credits achieved in foreign country equivalent to degree program

Course Fee: $130

Dates: Register on a monthly basis - access granted from the 1st of the month to the end of the month - Schedule Instructor Check-ins based on availability.

Course Description:

This course will provide enrollees with the clinical supervision required to meet eligibility for Illinois Clinical Social Work Licensure (LCSW). Enrollees in the course can expect to engage in live/synchronous virtual sessions with a peer group of no more than five and a highly experienced licensed clinical social worker.
