Course Detail: PLAB-1060 - Certified Phlebotomy Technician Clinical

Clinical portion of the Certified Phlebotomy Technician course. Clinical hours are scheduled at various times by the instructor, and may include day, evening and/or weekends. The student is responsible for transportation to and from clinical sites. Students must enroll concurrently in PLAB-1023 and PLAB-1060.

Burgundy scrubs, a lab coat and student patch are available for purchase in the college's bookstore and must be worn during clinical days.
Upon successful completion of this course the student should be eligible to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) examination. This course includes one attempt at the CPT examination, which will be scheduled by the instructor and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
