Course Detail: ITMT-1057 - Admin Window Operating System

A study of administrative tasks needed to maintain a Windows Server operating system including user and group management, network assess and data security. Topics include how to implement, configure and manage Group Policy infrastructure, Group Policy objects (GPOs) using links, security groups, WMI filters, loopback processing, preference targeting and troubleshooting policy application.End-of-Course Outcomes: Manage user desktops with Group Policy. Maintain Active Directory Domain Services. Optimize File Services using encryption and advanced auditing. Deploy and maintain server images and monitor Windows Server operating systems. Implement Group Policy infrastructure. Configure and manage user and service accounts. Configure and troubleshoot Domain Network Services (DNS) and remote access. Install, configure and troubleshoot the Network Policy Server Role. Implement Network Access Protection.This is a non-credit course; eligible for a payment plan and a senior citizen discount.
