Medicare is a critical source of health insurance for 44 million Americans. You need in-depth information on the often-confusing process of the Medicare system to make informed choices with your own, or a loved one's, health insurance. For most of us - whether we're on Medicare or not - decisions about health insurance are often difficult because they affect the kind of care we get and our financial security. Be informed so you can make the best decisions. Space is limited and registration is required for this free class.

Sabrina Stout

Biography: After growing up in and around the insurance industry, Sabrina became a licensed insurance agent in 2016. In 2019, after graduating from Portland State University with a bachelor's degree in the English and Spanish languages, she decided to pursue a career in which the focus was helping others. Now, with ample knowledge in life insurance, health insurance, and Medicare-as well as a skilled and experienced team standing beside her-Sabrina knows she has found the career for which she has been searching. Her primary goal is to make sure that she can educate everyone she can about the nuances of different insurances to help each person make the best decision for their specific situation. While not working, Sabrina spends as much time as she can outdoors. With a passion for fishing, dirt bike riding, backpacking, snowboarding, and finding all the hidden gems that Oregon has to offer, there is no other place she'd rather call home. Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
