Learn the basics of metalsmithing while making your own custom dangly earrings! In this class, you will learn the basics of designing and building metalsmith earrings made from wire. Class will include a brief lecture on the metal arts and safety while working with metals, then a hands-on demonstration. Techniques will include bending and manipulating wire to create complex forms that can be soldered and hammered. You will also create hand-made earring wires to hang your earrings from. Base metals will be provided as part of the materials kit, and silver will be available for purchase. By the end of the class, you will have made a finished pair of hand-built earrings to take home with you! All materials provided, and no experience necessary!
