Auto Theft Investigation and Current Trends

Vehicle crimes, often lumped into property crimes, have traditionally been second in priority to violent crimes for law enforcement. Recent trends in auto theft and the monetary profits being made from vehicle crimes have created an increase in theft and fraud that can no longer be ignored. Having a basic understanding of how to identify, combat and investigate these crimes is essential for law enforcement's ability to protect the public.
