Course Detail: HRD-3001CG2 - Career Skills to Succeed for English Language Learners

Seeking employment has its challenges especially if English is not your first language. This course is customized to help English Language Learners develop the skills to secure and maintain employment. In this course, students will strengthen their employability skills needed to help them obtain and maintain employment. Through guided instruction, students will practice English fluency, expand vocabulary, and practice writing while exploring how to create a targeted resume, find and apply for jobs, successfully interview for positions, and communicate appropriately in the workplace.
