Training Information: CED-0830 - Craft Distilling: The Vermont Experience

Vermont is one of the leaders in the nationwide craft distilling boom. This training brings students into direct contact with various building, operating, and working processes in the distilling industry. 

Through lectures, demonstrations, distillery visits, and hands-on experience, students will learn:

  • The distilling process
  • Distillery design
  • Substrate choices
  • Basic business and marketing skills
  • Licensing
  • Permitting
  • Environmental concerns
  • Quality controls
Students will also learn about various products, business models, scales, and construction types of distilleries.

REGISTRATION: Registration closes 2 weeks before the training start date. Any registrations from the initial close up to 5 days before the start will be assessed a $50 late registration fee. No registrations within 5 days of the training.  Any cancelations within 5 days of starting will be assessed a $625 cancelation fee. There will be no refunds given for no-shows.

Cancellation Policy
