Using the PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as a guide, participants will learn how to embed equity considerations in five process groups and ten knowledge areas of Project Management. Participants will learn practical steps for institutionalizing racially equitable community engagement throughout the lifecycle of projects, to ensure that historically underrepresented and marginalized communities are included in project decisions. This workshop is a great step to introduce your organization to how racial equity can be operationalized in Project Management to maximize long-term benefits for historically underrepresented and marginalized communities.
