Biography: Davis Freeman is a Tacoma based photographer, writer and lecturer. Beside operating a successful photography business, Davis has taught and lectured for Kodak, Leica, National Geographic Society, University of Washington, Seattle College, The Professional Photographers of Washington (PPW), The Rocky Mountain School and many others. His photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally. His work has been profiled in numerous publications to include: Photo Media, PDN, Polaroid Test Magazine, Studio Photography, and Shutterbug.A few past community involvements : regional president of ASMP, founding ASMP/NW assistants program, and chaired ASMP/NW's "Strictly Business", Youth in Focus board treasurer, Photographic Center Northwest (board and instructor) as well as the advisory boards of the Art Institute and Seattle Central's photography certificate programs.
