Biography: Christopher Clarke is a Brewer and Barrel Shepherd at 7 Seas Brewing in Tacoma. Manages all barrel cooperage, inventory and cellar maintenance. Keeps data on all barrels and runs constant sensory test with PH testing of all barrel-aged beer. Develops recipes with the Master Brewer for all beers to be conditioned on oak. Helps acquire new cooperage from wineries and distilleries. Blends, conditions and packages all beer that is produced. Propagates all yeast/live culture for every beer and inoculates all barrels. Brews on original 8.5 bbl system in Gig Harbor for small-batch and collaboration brew recipes. Teams with sales team to pour at special events and teach classes on beer to BA and BJCP guidelines. Trains new staff on proper keg room maintenance, sensory analysis and pour efficiency. He is also a Level 2 Certified Cicerone.
