Jon Kime
Biography: Jon Kime, BA English, Western Washington University comes from the private sector. For several years he worked as a Director and Vice President in the document / information management industry designing hardware and software solutions and providing trained staff for the life of the project. He managed large, high risk, high visibility projects with such agencies as DSHS, WS Department of Agriculture, WS Retirement Systems, WS Department of Transportation, and WS Department of Licensing. Projects with private firms include Boeing, Service Corporation International and sub contracts with most of the big names of the industry.  With projects of this size (one project encompassed 50 years of records with over 22 million legal documents) and with so many critical components Lean Six Sigma problem solving and long range planning methodologies were routinely used and essential for success.  Before working in the tech industry Jon worked for Goodale Mfg. as a purchasing agent and cost analyst. Goodale manufactured food processing equipment and sold world wide, including an entire strawberry packing and processing plant installed in Soviet Georgia. Every one of his projects was successfully completed on time and under budget with next to no staff turnover. Jon also has an extensive background in project management, contract negotiations, bid development and presentation, and business development.  He holds certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt from UW Tacoma, a TQM Facilitator and a Modapts Practioner.
