Course Detail: PM052 - Cost Management: Budget, Control, and Reporting

Equipment, hardware, software, and team labor hours are comprise cost. But, what else adds to the cost? Should risk contingency and management reserve be included in the budget? How do we show that we’re tracking to our spending curve throughout the project?

Format: Combination of interactive discussion, using web-based collaborative tools, sharing challenges and approaches in real-life case studies.

Outcomes: We will learn how to hone project budgets from Initiating through Closing. Identify your project’s “out of bounds” cost variance. Display your project’s progress in appealing visuals. Reflect how you can recover after over- or under-spending your plan.
