Course Detail: O_CLASS - Classic Films Revisited

Classics stand the test of time. Great classics have universal themes, believable characters, compelling scripts, and memorable quotes; they also appeal to more than one generation. Film classics to be explored in this course include Gone with the Wind with Clark Gable, Vivian Leigh, and Olivia de Haviland; Double Indemnity, Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, and Edward G. Robinson; Gilda, Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford; Suspicion, Joan Fontaine and Cary Grant; and The Little Foxes, Bette Davis and Herbert Marshall. These great films reflect the Golden Age of Hollywood, when screenplays entertained and educated, and stars were made.
