All teachers are literacy teachers. Based on interest expressed by island and coastal teachers and administrators, we are excited to host this in-depth, three-day literacy institute facilitated by Portland Public Schools literacy coaches Tracy Warren and Elizabeth Spinney. Both facilitators have broad experience in elementary, middle and high school literacy coaching.

The Literacy Institute will focus on best practices in PK-12 literacy and will be tailored to the identified grade levels and needs of participants.
