This course will raise the financial awareness of class participants by developing a basic understanding of finance and accounting concepts and terminology, as well as the ability to read, assess and understand key financial statements. The course will cover, the general accounting process, financial statement preparation and reporting process, as well as methods to analyze financial statements. The link between an organization's strategy, operational objectives and financial objectives will also be explored.
