Aquaponics is the cultivation of plants and aquatic animals in a recirculating environment. This course is designed to expand and deepen the way that you teach aquaponics in your classroom. This course is for educators that have taken Aquaponics 101 at Herring Gut or have prior experience teaching aquaponics. In this course, we will troubleshoot problems you may
have encountered, share what really works, and develop lessons that are ready to take back to the classroom to further engage students.
The workshop includes 2.5 days of hands-on teacher training in aquaponics and standards-based aquaponics curriculum materials that will engage and motivate your students.
