AgileAt some point, every leader has to contend with sub-standard performance. Why do some employees fail to do what's expected of them and what action can you take to correct the situation? During this workshop learn a step-by-step approach to effectively manage poor performance and create stronger accountability. Discuss and practice strategies to deal with problem performance and behavior.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify cues for sub-optimal performance and corrective action.

  • Define a step-by-step process for dealing with poor performance.

  • Create greater accountability in performance.

  • Practice the corrective action interview.

 

We recommend, but it is not required, that students start the supervision program with Stepping Up to Supervisor followed by Using Feedback Effectively. This course is part of the Certificate Program in Supervision.
