Working as a team can be highly effective and lead to greater results than working individually. However, not all teams are effective. In order to enhance performance and synergy that can be created with teamwork, leaders must take steps to ensure that that their teams are set up for success.

During this course, participants will:
  • Learn the key elements of effective teams and stages of team development
  • Develop skills to enhance team cohesion and performance
  • Learn to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration

Biography: Debbie Lundberg believes "how you present is how you are remembered"! She is the principal of Presenting Powerfully where she is both an educator and an entertainer. In her practice of "edutainment" she is "Reversing the Slobification? of America" in the areas of effective communication, professional behaviors and thriving relationships. Debbie embodies a combination of automotive industry leadership with a Dale Carnegie Training background, which has been enhanced by consulting for a national organization, prior to launching her Florida-based firm in 2006. As a 10-time published author, certified life coach, certified leadership coach, and certified image consultant who speaks, facilitates, trains and coaches nationally, Debbie has been recognized in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's Best in the Biz as a Top 10 Business-oriented Speaker for 5 years consecutively, and as a Business Journal BusinessWoman of the Year Finalist. Serving as a MacDill Air Force Base 927th Air Refueling Wing Honorary Commander Advisory Board Member, Past Chairwoman of the Centre Club Board of Governors, Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce 6-year Board of Directors member, Miss Tampa Scholarship Pageant Board member, Miss America Scholarship Pageant Preliminary Judge, Leadership Tampa Alumnus, and University of Tampa Board of Fellows Board member, Debbie is committed to the community "gives back" one pro-bono speaking engagement for training event each month for a not-for-profit, and offers a community rate for groups as well as 50% off any investment for individuals in transition.Debbie is part of the faculty at The University of South Florida in Continuing Education, where she facilitates courses in the leadership certificate program and the global leadership program. Additionally, Debbie introduced the Leading Ladies of Learning (LLoL), a group of successful individuals who register annually for quarterly group workshops and engagements during the upcoming year. The brand of the dynamic and growing group is "Where learning and laughter combine to form friendships and well-serving habits." Similarly, Debbie, her husband, Michael, and two close friends, lead a 501(c)3, Exchange-o-Rama, Inc., where the benefactors of quarterly charity events are Tampa Bay area women, pets and America's Veterans.Debbie earned her BA at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and holds an MBA from Edgewood College in Madison WI.
