Biography: Since 2001, Elizabeth Hennig has held positions with increasing levels of responsibility at Tampa's Lowrey Park Zoo in the offices of administration, human resources, finance and development. She hasplayed a key role in organizational development, strategic planning, master planning, compliance, risk management, facility project management, government affairs, Board relations, budget development, and financial management. Elizabeth is certified as a professional in human resources by the Human Resource Certification Institute and by the Society for Resource Management and earned an MBA at theUniversity of South Florida in 2008. Elizabeth current serves as ChiefFinancial Officer (CEO) and Sr. VP of Finance, Planning & Strategic Initiatives of the Lowry Park Zoological Society and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Elizabeth was named Tampa Bay Business Journal's CFO of the Year in the nonprofit category in 2012.
